When Russell Westbrook wears retros to a game, it’s not an accident. While several NBA players around the league have built a cult of personality simply based on the shoes they wear and not their actual performance, Westbrook has it both ways. As the appointed successor to wear the signature Air Jordan, he is often seen rocking the latest models like the Air Jordan XX9 and Air Jordan XXX, but when he breaks out the retro heat, there’s a buzz and fresh feeling there. You know it’s going to coordinate with the uniforms and that there’s a chance they’re either very rare or something we’ve never seen anybody else wear to a game. The player portrait will now update when a new user is signed in on the main menu via the account picker.

 

A number of other optimizations and enhancements have been made to improve the user experience. They often aren't even officially revealed until late October or November, which is well after the games hit the market. The Christmas jerseys make their way into the game in the most recent update, including the designs for the teams that aren't playing on Dec. 25. Much like in any jersey design added to NBA 2k17, all the uniforms are tied to a roster update in-game, which means players won't be able to use or implement said jerseys in existing save modes.

 

And that players will have to start over to be able to use these designs. Master Herald also reports that said Christmas jerseys will only be available for use in the Play Now and Online Games modes. That day has now come for "NBA 2K17" as this year's Christmas jerseys have been added into the game. Unfortunately they are tied to the latest roster update, and that means any modes (MyCareer, MyGM, MyLeague) already in progress won't be able to access them. They are instead available to use in Play Now/Online and for any modes that are started beyond this point in time. 

 

The NBA 2K17 Road to the Finals tournament is raging on. Two preseason dates and 12 Road to the Tournament dates are in the books, but gamers who still want to test their skills and enter the tournament have a few more opportunities. The next Road to the Tournament date is scheduled for April 9, per 2K Sports. Anyone who meets the following criteria has a chance to qualify and win their share of $250,000 and a trip to the NBA Finals. As previously reported.

 

"NBA 2K17" was updated to add the alternate floor of the Milwaukee Bucks called "Fear The Deer" and to see that floor in game, the players would have to use the alternative uniform for the Bucks. Now, 2K sports is tuning "NBA 2K17" for the holidays. A brand new update brings the "NBA On Christmas Day" uniforms for all 30 teams, which includes even those who are not playing on Christmas Day, according to Design and Trend. Moreover, for fans who have been closely watching the Twitter account of "NBA 2K17," two new locker codes have been given. One is the code to get Limited Dynamic Diamond Stephen Curry from which the "NBA 2K17" Twitter post wrote, "Thanks for joining us tonight!

 

Fans of the NBA 2k series have quite a lot of new stuff these past few weeks. This including a patch featuring bug fixes for some of the more grating glitches, some new locker codes and a brand-new update for NBA 2K17 that adds the NBA On Christmas Day uniforms for all thirty teams, plus three new sneaker designs were also released for the MyPlayer character customization screen.
