Wednesday is coming, meaning it’s that time of the week again where we find out who EA Sports have selected for the FIFA Ultimate Team–Team of the Week (TOTW), with the players chosen from those that have been performing to a high standard in the real world during the previous week. The latest FIFA 19 TOTW 40 has been confirmed now.
 
Compared to TOTW 39, this week’s lineup is kind of disappointing and less satisfying. Worse still, it is already drawing criticism from many Ultimate Team gamers. Some are even labeling it “Team of the Weak” based on the player cards here.
 
As you can see in the image below, we didn’t see any 90 rating players this week, and all we have only are a few 80 rated players. They include 88 OVR Iniesta, 86 OVR Paulinho, 82 OVR Eder, and 81 OVR Carlos Fernández.

As usual, these players will of course still be available to buy from the FIFA 19 transfer market, but if you're hoping to pack any of these players you'll only have until 6PM this evening to do so, at which point they'll be replaced by the new Team of the Week squad. The latest TOTW 38 will be available in packages starting at 6:00 PM at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019.
